A first visit focuses on a review of your history and identifying two or three most pressing concerns. Dr. Herron will discuss her initial clinical impression, order baseline laboratory evaluations (if indicated), provide nutritional, exercise, supplement, and self-care recommendations. You will leave the office with a binder containing all the information you will need to start making changes. Prior to your second visit, you will need only complete a short medical symptom questionnaire (MSQ) to monitor your progress.
The second visit, typically six weeks later, focuses on your response to changes implemented, reviewing laboratory results, and making a more comprehensive treatment plan. We also determine whether additional laboratory testing is indicated or clinical monitoring is adequate.
Follow-up visits, typically every three months to allow for ongoing evaluation and modification of treatment recommendations, education, and support in achieving optimal well-being.
